  • How long does BOTOX® last?
The duration of a BOTOX® treatment varies greatly from patient to patient. In addition to environmental influences and genetic factors, the strain on the muscles also plays an important role. For example, those who often sit in front of their PC or cell phone and concentrate very much put a lot of strain on the muscles between the eyes so that the frown lines can become visible again more quickly. As a rule, the effects of BOTOX® last between 4 – 6 months. Refreshing is usually easily possible.
  • Is BOTOX® safe?
BOTOX® is one of the best-researched active ingredients in the world and has been used successfully in the therapeutic field for more than 15 years, even in young children. In the aesthetic application, the dosages are also much lower than in the therapeutic area. There have been no reports of any long-term side effects.
  • How many units/injections will I likely need?
The amount of BOTOX® given will vary according to individual concerns and the depth and severity of your lines and wrinkles. Dr. Levinskaya or a member of her team can suggest the ideal number of BOTOX® units based on your treatment goals and whether you prefer to treat the brow area, forehead, or Crow's feet. To refresh your cosmetic results, our experts could recommend having BOTOX® procedures every 3 – 4 months at Rejuvenation Wellness Center.
  • Can I have BOTOX® with other nonsurgical treatments?
BOTOX® injections generally pair well with other aesthetic services at Rejuvenation Wellness Center for women and men who would like to target aging concerns. If you have deeper and more severe lines, our team may talk with you about incorporating a filler for smoother results. To further maximize a younger-looking radiant glow, we might provide other complementary procedures.
  • Is there a comparable cosmetic injectable option?
BOTOX is a certain type of wrinkle relaxer that exists within a multitude of other effective solutions, including Jeuveau™, XEOMIN®, and Dysport®. These wrinkle-reducing options are made from botulinum toxin type A; however, each is formulated individually to target specific challenges.
  • What's the difference between wrinkle relaxers and fillers?
Although wrinkle reducers, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, are provided to diminish fine creases by temporarily preventing your muscle contractions, dermal fillers are a different collection of aesthetic formulations that add volume to the face. Dermal fillers are designed to plump sunken features and reduce static wrinkles. Dr. Levinskaya or a team member can decide if you may benefit from a dermal filler (such as Restylane® or JUVÉDERM®) to further enhance your BOTOX® outcomes.
  • How much do injectable fillers cost?
The cost of a dermal filler will vary depending on the type used and how much is needed. During your consultation, we will develop your personalized treatment plan that best matches your goals. We will also provide you with an estimated cost, which will include any current specials we have.
  • How do I know which injectable filler is right for me?
The injectable filler chosen on you will be based on the area being treated and your wanted outcome. Based on if you want to reduce the appearance of fine lines or are wanting to get fuller lips, your injector will understand your goals before determining the correct filler for you. Now that there are so many brands of fillers, it may be overwhelming to choose which one is ideal for your needs, which is why we work hard to make sure you experience results you are happy with.
  • What is the difference between wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers?
A wrinkle relaxer, such as BOTOX®, addresses fine lines and wrinkles (mostly on the brow and in the corners of the eyes) by limiting the movement of facial muscles. Injectable fillers add volume to your face to fill in fine lines, wrinkles, and depressions. Dermal fillers may also be used to add more volume to your lips and cheeks and reduce the appearance of aging on the hands.
  • How long will the results last?
The longevity of your results will be based on which filler is used and where it is placed. In some people, improvements may last as long as two years, while others might need a repeat treatment after about six months. Touch-up injections can be performed at our office in order to maintain your results.
  • What areas of my face can be treated with dermal fillers?
Wrinkle fillers can address signs of aging in your face by either adding volume or smoothing static lines. Dermal fillers can be used on parentheses, marionette, as well as corner lines near your mouth and nose. They can also add volume to your lips and cheeks.
  • Are there any side effects associated with dermal fillers?
Like any cosmetic treatment, dermal fillers can have side effects. Common ones include temporary redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection site. Rare complications can include allergic reactions or filler migration. It's important to discuss these risks with the team at Rejuvenation Wellness Center.
